Sakura Cherry Blossom Bonsai
This Sakura Cherry Blossom Bonsai is the introductory piece in my newest series of Botanicals.
It is stylized with snowy mountains in the background to give it some depth and majesty.
This series of square-format images intended to showcase the beauty and elegance of botanical subjects: some in a fanciful background, others in a traditional Ikebana arrangement. Currently a work in progress, they will be printed on either silk or papers that have been made in Japan.
I am currently researching papers and will be making a final decision in time for the 2018 Art Fair Season.
