I love to photograph nature, but always feel that my photographs are not enough. That is where my creative vision kicks in. Whether they are portraits or studied moments, they have been captured and enhanced with love through the magic of textured overlays, gradients, and other special effects.

As my style has evolved, I draw Inspiration from other photographers, painters across the generations, the clarity of Audubon prints, and the simplicity of traditional Japanese artworks. The final touch is the output medium: I love the character of Japanese papers, silk fabrics, and other fine art papers. Each is chosen to complement the image. In some cases I use the traditional Japanese process called “momigami” or paper-crinkling to add physical texture and depth.

Note: The images that you see in this website are digital, and do not reflect that special character that comes from the sheen of the satin, the distressing of the paper or the randomness of imbedded fibers. Due to the nature of the post-print process, each piece of artwork is unique.
