Photomontage: ​  a multi-imaged picture with layers and textures

The images in this collection are made partly from photographs and partly from textures and special effects that give them a painterly look and feel. The resulting scenes could perhaps be found in nature, but are mostly a product of imagination brought to life with digital tools. The underlying images are from my decades-long collection of photographs, reflecting my travels and adventures, far away and close to home. Each image has a story behind it, filled with symbolism for the human condition, and special memories of an individual artist. Whether it is an ever-present struggle, the cycle of life, or feelings of hope and success: art is here to show the way.
